Role Overview:
Public Relations Associate / Public Relations Executive is a full-time, remote role responsible for reaching out to and building relationships with journalists across the globe. The candidate will look to establish and build a network with journalists.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create a database of active journalists based from different online sources such as Muck Rack
• Reach out to the journalists
• Build and maintain relationships with the journalists
• Prepare pitches on our clients for the journalists
• Pitch our clients to the journalists
• Understand our PR offerings and look for new media placement opportunities
Who can apply:
• Have strong skills in content writing, verbal communication and sourcing data
• Have the ability to reach out to and followup with journalists via different mediums
• Have experience with social media platforms and basic online practices
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail, clarity
• Shown demonstrated organizational and time-management abilities, including meeting deadlines in a remote environment
• Are comfortable working in a fast-paced digital agency setting; proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
Prior agency, public relations, or digital marketing experience is preferred but not required.
